Parrots and People- a Relationship of Conflict

Have you thought of changing to make your bird happy? I have a 50-year-old and a 20-year-old Amazon, both rescues; the older bird was wild until she got too sick to keep up with the flock. Neither of these birds have the issues you're having. As sensitive as birds are, I have to assume that your bird is soaking up the vibes you are projecting. Seasonal hormones aside (that's why we stick-train, after all), my green friends are the best companions you could ask for.
