Parrots are wonderful companions. They are incredible beings and deserve to be in homes where they are understood and accepted for who they are. Most people who have birds in their homes are not prepared to offer the birds a good quality of life which is very sad. Parrots are so much like us, they should be regarded as our equals [at least]. I recommend reading Chris Davis's monthly articles in Bird Talk magazine in order to raise one's consciousness with regard to the nature of parrots, and strive to offer our birds compassion, unconditional love and understanding.
