This is an interesting and worthwhile endeavor -- keeping parrots where they belong. I have a blue-front amazon, and seeing the frustration of this bird after he has matured, breaks my heart, and makes me realize that we should not be breeding birds. I am not a breeder, but I also did not realize until I had my own amazon, what a mistake it is to raise them in an unnatural environment. I care more for the happiness of my bird, than 'owning' him. He is entertaining -- but who are we (as humans) to think we can interfere with wild life like we do? Any comments?
