To whom it may concern,

Well it is time for our annual BBQ, raffle and silent auction. I know you are about to hit the delete button, but please don’t. We are a non-profit 501 (c) 3 registered and also a state licensed tropical parrot shelter located in Appling Ga. Every Memorial day weekend we hold a giant BBQ, raffle and silent auction to help raise money for several reasons.

First we offer a place for all unwanted and discarded parrots to remain in free flight until they are either adopted or go on to their final resting place, second we help needy families take care of their birds until they can get back on their feet and maintain their own birds once again. Sample (we maintained a Blue and Gold macaw along with an Umbrella Cockatoo for over 2 years for a family that lost everything) but thanks to us they saved the birds. And that was all done by donations of food and supplies from companies just like you. We promote the sale of your products by either your donations of sample bags (small sample bags) or the donation of large bags and a lot of business cards. We break down the large bags in small ones for samples and add your card so they may try the food before they order or purchase it. Second with donated foods and toys we raise money to help the rest by the proceeds from raffle and the silent auctions.
At the present time we are housing 236 birds from finches to macaws and as you guessed already that number of birds is growing at a rate of about 1 every 3 days coming in. We are always in need of cages, toys, sandy perches, swings and food. Any other products that can be auctioned or added to the raffle are also welcome. All of our other information is located on our web site.
We thank you in advance for your help to make this successful year here.
